Hi guys. I'm looking for a portable amp for my P5. I find my P5 soundstage a bit narrow and not transparent. Maybe I could use an amp that sound open, detailed and have a bit spacious soundstage. My budget is under 300 USD. Thanks a lot guys

Forget the FiiO, if you can up your budget to $350 then get the Sony PHA-1; if not then get the JDS Labs C5 for $190.

The C&C BH has a built in switch for expanding the soundstage. Here's a discussion thread to learn more: http://www.head-fi.org/t/644363/c-c-bh-portable-headphone-amp-80-hours-from-a-single-charge-buyer-review

I think I'll skip those made in China amps. I was thinking about TTVJ slim and Headstage Arrow. Which one is more suitable for P5? Thanks a lot guys.

I can't find the TTVJ Slim on sale anywhere from it's site, and based on reviews the Headstage Arrow looks very promising.  I am looking for an amp that will go well with the HD800, and the Arrow may just do the trick.

Best to verify that those are not made in China, too, if that is a concern. It's more likely that they are than not. LOL

JDS Labs puts together and tests their own amps.

Oops I forgot that my source is already made in China. iPod=Foxconn=China made. : (

Well the major difference is that iPod is manufactured under Apple with US quality control, others not so much.  Remember the key difference is QC regardless where the product was made.

+1

There are some good made in China products, just as there are some bad made in US products.
