Nexus 4 Amp or DAC required? | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

I have a nexus 4 and was wondering if an amp will improve its headphone out. I would consider a DAC if there was some solution that allows for use without an external power supply. I am rooted as well.

Not a DAC but a portable headphone' amp. Most of them comes with batteries. Check Nexus 4 threads
