How's the comfortability on them? I've heard numerous things and honestly it's not that big of a deal but seeing it on your head makes it look quite snug haha

So far not bad at all. The beyers we're nice. But, the reviews of the weight and crap are way overexaggerated. Good clamp too. Might be too much for some. For me not too bad.

While i bet the modded pad would improve the he500 And yes i m on the list for the 2nd batch, i would not call the stock he500 underwhelming by any means with the velour pad. IMO, You seem to forget the IMO. :wink:

Bend the head band to adjust the clamping to ur liking. Don't suffer if it's tight.

Isn't there a guide brochure for bending the headband in the headphone package? I thought Hifiman included that in recent shipped units.

Do this. With both hands, lift the cups off your face/ears just a little bit with music playing of course. Pay attention to the bass. You will see why you should not wear the he500 too tight.

i see.... And now i seemed to get a better fit, by barely bending it. Oh my god the sub bass with adventure club. This is amazing.
