Yes, but what are you talking about here? Where did people vote for these headphones to be $70? If you don't articulate on that, you are probably disheartened by the credible hype on these phones. Why not try them? Then return to us and provide your thoughts on these.

Dude, he MIGHT HAVE meant the amazon + newegg reviews. At LEAST, I hope so...unless they formed a poll here on headfi?

If not, somethings up with him.

Yea...I don't know why I posted and what was the point I was trying to make. I had nothing to contribute and I was talking out of my ass just for the heck of it.  Sorry about that. I have not heard the mikros but I will as soon as I get a good deal for a used pair on ebay. I'm sure those are a great addition to my collection of good affordable headphones.

Any of you folks compared the aiaiai TMA-1/TMA-1 studio to the other phones discussed in this thread? I love the look of them but it seems from what I've read they are not in the same class as the H6/P7 etc.

The TMA-1 isn't in the same class. It's made for EDM and imo it sounds really unnatural with other genres.

Otherwise, I think the new Beyer T51p his a top tier.
MacedonianHero should test it, I'd like to know his impressions.

The T51p are on my radar, but methinks I want to try the new V-Moda XS's first. I was a little concerned about them and their comfort after owning the painful DT1350s, but by all accounts, beyer has fixed that with these.

Someone send it to him!

LoL, exactly.

The DT1350 just need some time before the clamping force relaxes. You could also bend the headband.

I've also modded my DT1350 so the sliding mechanism is on the outside, no more hear getting stuck. Parts and guide sent free by Beyer Germany. I've been wearing these for more than 2 years and it's still going strong.

I had them for over a year...it wasn't so much the clamping as the 3 point bend it put on my ears when I wore my glasses...torture devices that way. Without my glasses, they weren't bad though.

Well after spending time with the 1350's, hp50's, and P7 I've gone back to the SRH 940's however I've put the 1540 alcantara pads on the which has added some more weight in the low end and a bit more body on the top making them very very enjoyable.

Not ideal for portability and I will likely add some esw9 or maybe t51p for while I am on pubic transit but most of my listening is done once I get to work so the 940's do just fine for that time. It's not that theothers ssounded bad but there were comfort issues or as with the p7 a fatiguing characteristic that got them returned.

Hey MacedonianHero...quick question...I currently have the PSB M4U 1 and my Momentum's will be arriving the in a couple days...got a great deal(Black over ear for 239.00, always sound better with a good price). My question, I am still in the return time frame on my M4U 1's and was wondering if I should bother exchanging them for the Nad? I enjoy their sound immensely and know the sig's between the 2 are almost identical but i see you gave the nod to the nad (haha) in sq over the M4U 2.  Any thoughts?

Do you find the PSB's a bit big? That was one of the 2 major reasons I sold them...the second being was there there was stuff going on with the upper mids/treble that wasn't to my liking (a bit strident at times). Sonically, the NADs are my favourites so far...so I would. YMMV of course.

The size is one reason I am considering it. The headband looks strange with the NAD but the whole PSB looks big and strange. I just made the exchange.... Sonically if they are similar I should be pleased. My next dilemma is my Momentums and HP50 arrive the we day.....what a problem huh? The HP50 looks more comfortable as well as a bit more stylish

Unless you have a pointy head, the NAD's don't look bad at all.
