Hey everyone, i'm about to buy a pair of monitors for my computer with a 300 dollar budget.
Here are my options so far:
Emotiva airmotiv 4s:http://www.emotivapro.com/products/airmotiv-4-pair
M-audio bx5 d2:http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/MAudioBX5D2.html
Audioengine a5+:http://audioengineusa.com/Store/Audioengine-A5plus

I'm really leaning towards the airmotiv 4s as of right now, but i may be overlooking other options. The very highest i can stretch my budget is 350 including shipping. Has anyone heard these and or other speakers? If so, I'd love to hear some impressions. Thanks in advance!

I've heard the Airmotiv 4s, and I think they are an excellent value.

Here's a review on CNET comparing them to the A5+: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13645_3-57367525-47/emotivas-astonishing-desktop-speaker/

i have just gotten the PSB PS1, $299.99
audiostream, and goodsound have given rave reviews .
i too was leaning towards the airmotiv 4, but at the last minute, decided
to try the psb, i'm very impressed, its way better than the audioengine a2
which is getting moved to the bedroom
