New in ear buds for my new iPhone 5

Okay, after going through some more threads, I have brought Atrio back to the list and dropped JVC. So finally its between Atrio and X10.
I understand the Atrios are for bassheads, but I don't mind if it doesn't mess up the overall sound quality.

Experts any comments?

Thanks.

Atrios have kind of a closed soundstage. It's bass is really really good. I own both the Atrios and the X10, if you're a pure hard bass head. GO FOR THE ATRIOS!! But if you want a more fun sounding IEM, and judging from your genres, I would still recommend the X10. Though..... Like you said, the wires are REALLLLLLLY thin. So you do have to take good care. The Atrios wire is lovely!! Totally tangle free, doesn't have the rubbery feel and I love it's memory wire feel when worn over the ears. Whereas X10 is generally worn straight down. (I'm an over the ears fan)

Thanks very mcuh all for your worthful inputs. I have almost finalized the X10, but the cable quality really pulled me back. As I said earlier, I had not so good experience with S4 already. it worked for almost 2.5 yrs but even 1 yr prior to that the cable started wearing out. So I have decided to go with TDK BA200 after going through lot of exciting reviews. But meantime, when I was talking to a colleague this morning, he said he could get me $50 discount if I want to go with UE 900. Currently it is around 375+taxes. That is far above my budget, but I can go for it if it is really worth that price difference. I read stunning reviews about UE 900, but this investment is big for me considering that I have just spent close to 800 bucks for my iphone 5. As usual your expert opinion on this is greatly appreciated I have a gift coupan that is expiring on 30th, so I have to decide on this at the earliest possibly during this weekend. Thanks

You may also want to check out the RE-400's.    For the money, I think they offer more performance per dollar spent than just about any other IEM out on the market.    While I wouldn't classify it as a "fun" sig, neither would I classify it as "analytical" either.   Kind of straddles the fence there.  Super detailed without favoring any one frequency while at the same time, being a tad on the warm side.    Just got mine a few weeks ago and the honeymoon is still on.

MUCH easier on your wallet than the ones mentioned above.   It's an IEM that sonically, compares to many others at two to three times its price.

Thank you. How is their noise isolation? I am a frequent flyer, so if not very good, I need at least above average isolation quality..

I upgraded to the UE900 recently and I must say I really love it! If that's within your budget then I recommend getting it. It's a really fun iem to listen to. Compared to the W4R and SE535 I really prefer the UE900 (my own opinion though)
