To make a long story short, I use the 4g touch. I've used it with the stock firmware, but updated to 5.0 about 1 and half ago. I didn't like it, because it was slow on jailbreak. I downgraded back to 4.xx. Back in January of this year (maybe February) I updated to 6.0. It was fast, but the mid-bass bloated as hell. Did they ever address it? I'm thinking about updating again, because there are practically no apps compatible with my ipod, now.
