Has anyone tried hot water to soften them before insertion?

Hum well we will see im hoping it will be worth it but hey lesson learnt if not and that's worth paying for experience is something i do value highly.  Btw MoonYeol what source are you using to drive the amps ??

Until recently I used my Apex Glacier. Now I'm only using my Galaxy S4 and laptop. The DAC-input got loose on the Glacier and I bought it used from a second owner. Have to see if I can get it repaired. Sucks.

Aw man that does suck sorry to hear that i'm quite happy with the jds labs C5d. It just seems however to be an unfortunate unhealthy obsession to try out new gear. If anyone here has a great job that require little or no qualifications please post. I just don't think i can afford this addiction any longer honestly thinking about going cold turkey for a year or two !

Really keen on the Fischer Amp FA-4E XB.I noticed that someone in thread mentioned that cable would have difficulty with cased iPhones.Could you confirm if this the case and if so is there an adapter?Thanks.

Yes the end of the cable is fat but you can use something like this with a cased iphone http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-5-Male-to-3-5mm-Plug-Female-Stereo-Audio-Headphone-Adaptor-Splitter-Jack-Cable-/111284468493?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item19e9123b0d or buy an aftermarket cable

Glad you are liking them in btw which iems did you have before the fa 4e?
 
A friend of mine received 2 days ago the heir audio 5.0 and after spend the whole day with them trying tips, sources....he went bak to the fa 4e and find them an amount better than the heir 5.0
