For low price, the Audio Technica ATH-M30s are decent enough and I find them pretty comfortable.  I have a set strictly devoted to the PC.  I got them for about $35USD but you can find them < $50USD pretty easily.  Otherwise, you could step up to the ATH-M50s for a little more.

CAL
sony mdr v6
sony mdr 7506
ath-m30s

Edit: I also heard about the AKG K518 so tell me if they are better than the above
If my music taste is important I listen to rock, funk rock, metal, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, hard rock and alternative. sometimes dubstep

I have the CALs and the MDR-V6s.
The CALs are good sounding headphones......but to me the cups are a little too small and the diaphragm seems to be about 1mm from my ear.
I can only use the CALs for around 10-15 minutes as my ears start to hurt.
With the Sony V6 and 7506, you can get Beyerdynamic EDT 200/250 Velour ear pads for them for around $23.
With V6 verses 7506 sound wise, some prefer the V6, others the 7506.
Still think the Takstar Pro 80 (Gemini HSR-1000) is the better headphone.
