Okay, so I haven't had very much experience with headphones, mainly just with IEMs and a few gaming headsets. I'm no expert in sound or in reading specs nor am I a complete audiophile.

I'm planning on using these headphones/headsets for music (A wide range, but preferrably something a little more bassy, but doesn't drown out or muddy up the highs) and gaming. Positional accuracy IS NOT important to me and I'd prefer a stereo headset if possible.

I'm also in a bit of a weird situation in that I'm limited to three retailers within Calgary, Alberta. Future shop, Best Buy and Memory Express. Each have their own respective websites. I'd also prefer to pick these up in store as I don't have a credit card and while I still can purchase online, I'd like to stay away from that because the method I have to use is a little inconsistent and sometimes my purchase will not be authorized. It happens more than I'd like it too.

My budget is something around $150 or so. But if there's a pair of headphones or headsets out there that are really worth the higher price tag, I would not mind waiting a little bit to get them. My situation kind of limits me by quite a bit so I'm kind of at a loss here since I'm no expert in headphone/headset sound and have little to no experience with it.

FYI, I'm currently considering the Razer Blackshark, Sennheiser HD 439 or HD 429 and Corsair Vengeance 2000.
If anyone could give a few pointer to how those four sound, it'd be much appreciated.

Websites of the retailers that I can purchase from:
Memory Express:

Future Shop Canada:

Best Buy Canada:

P.S.
If you can find a pair that one of these retailers sell in-store that will end up being under the $150 price point after a price match, that'd be absolutely fine too.

I'd get the HD439 out of those 4 you listed. Great mids and highs, tight, punchy bass that only comes out when it needs to. It seems to have the best balance out of the HD4x9 series.

I believe the Vengeance 2000 is just a wireless version of the 1500, and the 1500 is just a USB version of the 1300. I had the 1300 and sold it after a day(return policies suck where I'm from) because it sounded so lifeless, not to mention the clamping pressure would squeeze your brains out.

I can't comment on the Blackshark because I haven't heard it yet, but judging from the sound of my brother's Charcharias and Electra, I wouldn't touch any headset from Razer.
