If it has,the first thing tomorrow morning is me buying v10..
v10 has half the price of x7.

Well, it has the same DAC as the X7, a respectable SABER 9602 AMP (not to mention a more power CPU and RAM combination).

Something else worth pointing out - like many other good DAPs, the DAC and AMP are well away from the rest of the system - the CPU/RAM/Storage sits at the top of the phone, but the DAC and AMP sit at the bottom.  This may not be huge, but it will obviously help keep a clean signal.

By no means is the V10 the ONLY good DAP replacement phone.. there are now several brands featuring high end hardware; but i wont lie either; i love my V10, for more than just the audio. The screen setup is amazing, i love the size, and the fully replaceable battery and SD have me sold.

It seems you know a lot about the V10 DAC. Bother to do a comparision between the V10 and the upcoming ZTE Axon 7 please?

Well, I have my v10 in hand, and simply did lots of research.. I can't say I know any more than others. I have no plan on buying the ZTE, so I can't say I will be of any help there.....

In this case, please tell me a bit of your experience with your V10 soundwise. I live to the day that I'll be able to afford both the V10 and the ShureSE 846. That must be so amazing..

Have not heard HTC 10 or v10 but very much doubt any phone can produce sound as live and engaging as DF. Have not tried DF red but supposed to be even better.

More expenses and OTG not unlocked for some smartphones (Nexus lol). Also not very comfortable to use in my opinion. Moreover, can't find DF Red in Russia from trusted dealers. Only from counterfeit-traders.

BS on what exactly? Nothing i said in comparison to the x7 was false.. it does have the same DAC, and a more powerful subsystem. I fully acknowledge the x7 may be better, but i say that it wont be leaps and bounds of difference.

Now, this is driving me batty. If you really doubt the owners of both phones so much, why dont you track one down and actually test one. The v10 blew me away compared to my x5, and the HTC 10 should sound as good as well. As it is, if you aren't willing to believe that phones with the same hardware as DAPs could sound as good, maybe you would be more comfortable in other threads....
