Denon AH-D600 cable replacement

Hi Head-fiers!

I bought the Denon AH-D600 and I realized that the thin cable was inferior to the thick cable in terms of the SQ. Mid was toned down and the bass become so lean. Anyone else feeling the same way I did?

Can you guys give me some cable suggestion to replace the thin cable?

Thanks!

So you like the long cable they come with but not the short one?  If you can stand giving up the control switch in the short cord any 1/8" stereo mini cable would work.

Here's one now...

However, I strongly suspect there are no real differences between the two.  The headphones themselves are fairly colored.

Uhhh. You should probably look at the actual cord. That one doesn't work. :P It's a stereo to stereo mono x 2 arrangement.

Yeah, sorry, couldn't find anything on the actual cord...Denon doesn't publish info, not in the reviews either.
