Hi Head-Fi,
 
Was pretty happy with my Yuin PK3 but I lost it... Hopefully somewhere in my room as opposed to on the bus or something.
 
I don't follow this forum anymore, but I can trust it for some reliable advice. What are some good earphones (either earbuds or IEMs) that can be found for under $40?
 
I listen to a variety of music predominantly hip-hop, alternative, indie, indie rock, electronic, reggae but I listen to some classical music, jazz, blues, soul when I'm in the mood.
 
Open to suggestions. I plan on getting at least 2 just so I have an extra pair of earphones on me all the time.

Genres are useful, but stating preferences in sound signature, comfort, isolation, etc would be even more so. In this case, from all the genres stated, would think you'd want an all-rounder though. In which case the GR04/E30 do wonders. But since you want two, not sure if that means you want two of the same IEMs or two different ones entirely. In which case if it's the latter, guessing you'd want opposing/complimenting sound signatures then.
