Hi guys. Thanks for the great replies. I have been taking a closer look at those models. But since i will be using them on the go, those models are not that practical. Was wondering which of these models are the best?

None of the ones on your list.

Go for the HD-25 I II. The momentum will also do fine, but they are way over your budget.

As i wrote, I am going to use them on the go, and therefore they have to be easy to store, or have around the neck, and those you suggestet, are neither.
But thanks for the reply.

Grado.....bend the headband and give the earpads a good washing with mild soap....you get better comfortability.....and the sound is great for the music that you like.

You cannot have good quality and small "on the go". You posted in the full-size section, that's why all the above are full size recomandations.
There are ways to carry headphones if you really care about sound quality - my son caries his full-size headphones at school in the back-pack, and uses the phone as source (in the school bus only, almost 1 hour each way). He used to have only in-ear iPhone type, but then he switched to Android/flac and found out what he was missing.
For rock, Grado are the best - SR60i is probably what you need. If sound isolation is a must, then you can look to something with closed back, but that, IMO, usually leads to boomy bass.

However, this post is in the wrong category, did you read the big STOP on this forum page?
