I want to confirm that the outputs on this particular model the DJ model are a headphone out and a line out

also is the Line Out a true line out as in an unamplified clean signal.
is it unaffected by the volume control on the card itself
this is important as i am looking at connecting my laptop to the amp and creating music playlists on winamp which i can then play via the card.

please advise

The lineout is unaffected by the volume control, only by software, and its pretty decent. The headphone out on the other hand is crap.
