So I'm pretty much set on keeping these two headphones as my mains, but I want one nice cable for both. I'm not a believer of cable-fi per se. I do know cables do make a minute difference, but not one I personally gain from. I mainly just one a nice cable for both that I can switch to and fro.

I guess what I'm asking for is a pair of adapters for the LCD2 that would allow me to use a cable designed for the AKG K70x/Q701 line, and leave those attached to the LCD2... I'm getting my LCD2 today, and I forget what XLR type it uses...

These look like something I want, but I wouldn't know which.

It'd look something like this... with those fixed onto the LCD2.

The LCD2 uses 2x Mini 4 pin Xlr connector. Meanwhile the Q701 uses single sided mini 3 pin xlr.

You can make a 2x Mini 4 pin XLR female to Mini 3 pin xlr male then connect it to the Q701 cable; but that will only works in single ended, not balance mode I think.

I'm an idiot. For some reason... I thought the K702 was dual sided. Wow, lol. DERP. I have owned the K701, Q701, and now the K702 Anni, and yet forgot, hahaha.

So I guess in my situation, what I want is a LCD2 dual termination cable to end in a single mini 3 pin XLR so I can use the cable I'd buy for the K702 Annie.

Basically a small Y cable. One end with the 3 pin mini female XLR, the other dual sided end to connect to the LCD2.
