HiSound only supports high resolution files in WAV format
Tai,
If this is said from the Nova point of view... Nova sounds thinner and more analytical?
I never chase for soundstage. Tone is the most important for me. Sound/tone with flesh and blood, and hopefully soul; the last one is very rarely found on hi-fi equipment. How good X3 deliver this?
Just wondering how HiSound was able to pull off that 80 hrs battery life on their Studio V 3rd Anniv. Maybe they don't have that much powerful amp like X3 has?
Does Fiio X3 able to support higher capacity external memory such as SDXC 2T in future firmware update?
In the case of iBasso DX50, it support SDXC 2T.

I need advice from you guys , I'd like to buy studio-v 3rd anv but i dont know if its worth waiting for x3 and refuse from studio-v 3rd anv .. could you tell me is studio-v superior to fiio x3 ??
Superior sound or superior UI?
And for what headphones?
IEMs Sennheiser IE80 .. personally i dont care about UI , i'm interested just in sound
studio 3rd anv is almost twice price than fiio x3 ..teoriticaly studio should be superior to x3 I wondering about comparison in soundstage details and overall SQ .
2TB is just the theoretical limit of SDXC. iBasso should not have used it as marketing claim. The microSD slots in X3 and DX50 are likely of the exact same type. Meaning if future SDXC cards adopt different pin setting / power consumption / hardware (like SDHC vs SD), neither X3 nor DX50 will support that 2TB SDXC.
Beats Pro is 2X the cost of a used HD600
Sometimes, the things you say make me want to weep.

Existence of such a brand (beats by blabla) makes me want to weep.
I feel for you mate.

hello, i want to ask again.
how about comparasion between X3 and iTouch 1st gen ?
thankyou
Assuming you're sincere about this question and not just trolling around, the X3 sounds better from any apple devices especially the iPod Touch 1st gen as I believe iPod Touch only started to sound decent with their 4th gen.
