It's always a good idea to use a ohmmeter to verify the pin assignments even if you have a schematic, especially if you are not 100% sure that the schematic applies to your pot.

When looking at it from the front, the pins should be as follows:

gnd--gnd--out--out--in--in--dummy.

I don't know about a 7 pin Panasonic, but I did pick up a few from All Electronics a while ago that fits your description of the pot, with seven pins. Eyevanscu is right. When looking at it from the front with the pins pointing down pins 2,3 & 5 are one set and 1,4 & 6 are the other set with 3 and 4 as the wipers. Mike Hamel on this forum had made a Mouse Amp with one. He seemed to think that the 7th pin is for loudness control, as I recall. I could be wrong. In any case, I snipped the 7th pin off as I had no use for it. It is not a bad pot for its price. I think I paid $0.50 each for them.

Ajit, eyevancsu, 10SNE1, groggory
thank you very much.
I bought two of them from a local dealer ($1 for each

). There is no logo nor sign on it, he said it is Panasonic. I'll try one this evening.
Thanks.
