I want to buy a pair of hd650's but no-one has them in stock right now. The only place that I found them was at 'J and R' but I refuse to pay the full $449 for them (I have a problem with paying the full retail price when I know I can find a better price somewhere else

)

Anyway,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,do you guys know of any distributor who has them in stock NOW at a decent price??

I bought my HD650's from the store that the earlier post linked to for same price. They were out of stock at the time I ordered them. As a result they upgraded my shipping and as soon as they came in they called me to tell me they were shipping. It took about an extra 3 or 4 days for them to get the phones in. I found them pretty easy to deal with.

meech, I just noticed you are in NYC. I believe they are located in Brooklyn or somewhere up there.

Most folks replace the stock cable. Factor that into you purchase price.

BTW - Todd offers a good package. As always call to test your negotiation and his stock sensitivity.

Audio advisor should have them in stock by the end of the month. Let's see if they are telling the truth!

I got mine from MVP Audio/Video. No real problems, although their website form switches billing/shipping addresses when ordering, so I suggest calling them.

$449 is well below the list price of $500 retail.

Make sure that the company you buy the headphones from has a good return policy.

I'd just get em' from headroom or todd. Its not worth saving an extra 50$ or so to have no coverage. Maybe if they were like hd600's and going for 200$ at other places, but not over 50 bucks.

Thanks guys. I appreciate all of the responses.

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I did it! My new 650s will be delivered tommorow from MVP audio ($341 plus shipping). I also ordered a pair of Zu-Mobius replacment cables from Nate at Zu Cables. I paid for the next day delivery so they should be here tommorow also.

It's gonna be a long night!!!!
