I know I have to go with what I want but i'm just asking are both of those headphones good quality sets? Are the brands known and reliable? Known to make good stuff?

Just buy the Bose AE2's (not the AE2I's) these replaced the AE2's, I think they are 100$U.S. new on ebay, sound's like exactly what you want: Extemely comfortable, light weight, and they isolate nice from the outside, and they are slim and cool looking, and you'll be able to live with the sound quality since it's not a major concern to you.
