Any tips for installing new earpads on HE400? | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

I just got my new He400s and I love them....especially now that I have tried the velour earpads. But I have not quite figured out the trick to popping them fully into place. It seems I can get three of the four little tabs to catch the driver frame, but the fourth one just won't snap into place. The earpads work this way, but I would like to secure them fully.

Any pointers from someone who has fiddled with these or similar Hifiman headphones more than I have so far?

yeah just put in (against the velor from the side of the pad) while taking the part of the velour that makes contact with your ear and pushing that in, towards the clip.

That should do it.

Got them on there. Just pushing did not do it, but I was abel to grasp the plastic ring and bend it till it caught. Thanks for the suggestion.
