Does anyone know if there is a huge difference between the standard Dimarzio interconnects and the Dimazio M path interconnects. Both were given 5 out of 5 stars on the headphone.com website. The M path is a little more expensive too. If someone can clear this up it would be much appreciated.

BMBROWN911:

I had both the DiMarzio High Definition Interconnects (1m) and the DiMarzio M-PATH Interconnects (1m). Basically, the M-PATH version is a more refined IC which is to say that it imparts its' own signature upon the sound: warm, impressionistic yet detailed, and uber clarity. Of course, you will have to let them burn in approximately 120+ hours before you hear the differences and you will have to pay attention to hear such differences. If you can afford the M-PATH ICs, then you can afford to spend some time and research into better ICs for your money. They are out there.
