Hi there,

I have the following issue with my Medusa NX Gaming Headset (if this is the right place to ask).

When I want to turn the volume up it does not turn it up but instead it only plays music on the right headphone.
When I want to turn the volume down it does not turn it down but instead it only plays music on the left headphone.
When I put it on medium it's on both sides but not equally.

What could be the problem with it and how could I fix it?

Thanks.

Excuse me for laughing, but are you trying to use the balance knob instead of the volume knob :p

Not only that, but it sounds like your balance knob needs cleaning. Something like WD40 should do the trick if you don't have proper electronics cleaning spray.

That's not the case.
I certainly would know if I as moving the wrong knob :p.
The balance knob does not even work and since I bought the Headphones I have left it centered (worked nomally and still is centered).

The knob I was moving was clearly marked Volume and if you would like I can record myself moving the knob marked "Volume" which used to work normally and now does not work.

Any ideas on that?

I see.

Well then, no, no ideas on that, besides that it might be defective :).

Are you sure it's plugged in correctly?

How come the balance function doesn't work?

Ah - so it's one of those 5.1 shindigs. Do you have all the drivers properly installed for the headphone to work properly? I'm assuming there are drivers needed to simulate the surround sound.
