I can't get sound out of the right channel

I've tried it on my mini-system AND my computer, and neither works. Just last night they were working fine. Now, this.

Any quick-fix tips? If not, what do I do next? Do I deal with Sennheiser, or do I deal with HeadRoom (ordered them about a week ago).

Thanks

I'll try the obvious: make sure the plug is pushed securely all the way into the jack.

Now that I've got that out of the way, I'd call Headroom and explain that you were sent a defective headphone. They'll send you an RMA, you send it back and get another headphone sent out.

HI: Headroom is great service so you could ask fore cross shipping. That is they send you new cans while you send back the old ones. Actually I would ask fore the new cans and a free shipping label and send them back when I received the new cans and use the same package with free shipping. Here is a chance fore you to upgrade to the 595. LOL.

no i dont play games, and i'm sure mine is just a freak pair.

on a side note, the problem has gone from bad to worse -- now the sound in the left channel is all distorted! talk about a lemon pair -- great phones though -- when they work

Ahhh...your making me nervous now with the pair i ordered from headroom...hopefully things go smoothly with mine. I already had to return my 497''s and paid shipping, so i don't want to have to go through the trouble of sending somethin back and waiting again.

Just wanna update and say I'm glad I ordered from HeadRoom. They stopped working Monday, they sent out a new pair Tuesday, and I got them today (Wed). THAT is service. With a pre-paid shipping label to go back to them. So far so good with the new ones -- stereo sound, wow! I'm no longer relegated to monaural recordings for the rest of my life

That's referred to as advanced replacement. Usually when you do that, you provide your credit card number; if you don't send the broken product back, they charge your card.

This will probably work with the upgrade too, 'cept they'd charge you the difference.
