Hi there!

I've been reading in these forums for over a year to figure out what equipment I should buy, so I settled with a beginners package (X-Fi Titanium HD - Fiio E9 - HD650).
But now I feel that I want to upgrade my sound even more, so I've been reading for days, trying to decide what amp I should get.
My budget's a bit limited so the amps I've been checking out that I can get here in Sweden, and the price range I feel that I'm bound to is around 250 euro-ish.

Some amps that I've been looking at is for example Pro-ject Head Box SE II and Vincent KHV-111MK. Are these amps better than my Fiio E9?
I've tried to find out as much info as I possibly could on these two, but I haven't been able to find anything that says if they're better than Fiio E9 or not.

If not, can you guys give me a good hint at what I should be looking at instead?

Thanks in advance!

Maybe you can try the Little Dot MKIII tube headphone amplifier?

Thanks for the tip, but I can't get that here in sweden, and it's really expensive to import :/

Do you know anything about the two amps that I mentioned? Are they better then Fiio E9?

Thanks in advance!

Hopefully someone else on Head-Fi does.

As a fellow Swede / European I have to recommend http://www.audiophonics.fr/. Inside EU, has yulong, schiit, audio gd and a lot of other stuff with "inside EU" prices. No additional vat or customs. Be sure to use the google translate button for english.

Not so easy to find all the gear that's on Head-fi, but this site seems to have a lot of the stuff.

Oh thank you! Yeah they certainly seem to have lots of stuff >.< but now I got even more unsure of what I should pick! D:

The only thing that I want is to get an nice upgrade from Fiio E9, since from what I've gathered the HD 650 could sound a lot better than they probably do now!

Thanks in advance!

Kinda shameless bump here, but I'll also take some time to ask you guys if any of you have used both Fiio E9 and Schiit Asgard? If so is the Asgard a nice upgrade compared to Fiio E9 when it comes to SQ?

Thanks in advance!

If you an raise your budget I'd consider getting the Schiit Lyr. I haven't personally heard it, but it gets tons of praise around here and is what I'll be upgrading to go along with my 650's sometime soon. If not, the Asgard is still a solid choice.
