For those who have both the vc-02, and an mh1c, how does the vc-02 stack up against the mh1c? On a scale of 1 - 10,where would the vc-02 rank in terms of bass impact? With 1 being almost sterile and 10 being the same as the mh1c. I do have a pair of mh1c's,but more treble and tighter, less boomy bass would be nice. Thanks

3-4 in my opinion its has enough decent controlled punchy bass but not as bassy compared to mh1c,

Have you switched the cables (from right to left and vice versa) to ascertain if it is a problem with the drivers or cable? Either way, you could contact LMUE for exchange.

Good luck. In my experience, that can be a true nightmare. They won't post the replacement to you until they receive yours unless you really, really make a big stink. They also insist on posting the replacement from Singapore, not from the clearing house in the US. Expect the transaction to take at least a month, maybe two.

Also, they tend not to respond readily to emails pertaining to exchanges... I once emailed them repeatedly, and it took them nearly two weeks to respond. Trying to negotiate an exchange with one email per week means that even getting to the point where you ship them can take a month.

I received a complimentary unit of the VC02 earlier today for review, excited to put them through their paces. I'll have to do the recommended 100 hours of burn-in as stated on the cable tag I guess, before making a final assessment. Anyway, out-of-the-box impressions are already very good, I already like them better than VSONIC's other low-priced products like the GR99, GR02 bass ed, and GR06.

Just when I was going to pull the trigger, I see your unfortunate position.  I went back and see Ivabign also has an issue with a bad driver.  Is it a safe assumption that we are just taking a chance when we buy these little cheap iem's - QC is not so great?  Just curious, I have very little experience with these little buggers regardless of mfg'r.
(sorry if this belongs in a separate thread)

After looking through this thread I'm also thinking of getting a pair based on the value (genuine thanks for the tip Pakoboy and apologies for not replying to the other thread).

How durable have people found these generally? I'm protective of my headphones and sure my gf will be if she gets these but wondering if they're delicate on a day to day basis?

I mailed them today and got answer in the evening. I think there custom service has improved. I also had mailed them a few times before because there was some problem with shipping and they answered within 1 our 2 days.

I currently have the VC02 and previously owned the MH1C. The VC02's bass is nowhere near as boomy as the MH1C. Even out of the box I daresay it's almost as clean and tight as the GR07.
