I wish my ears weren't so finicky, sure would save some money. And not sure if this is the right place to post this, but many here know more than me, and have much more experience, so here goes: I have 2 mid-fi headphones- HD650 and HE400. I'm trying to find one headphone that does almost everything well. I don't listen to Classical- mostly only Rock and Jazz. And most of my music isn't modern prefressional recordings. This is what I love about the HD650- it's so forgiving and pleasing to the ear. But it doesn't have the clarity, detail or speed of the HE400. Trying to decide where to go from here. Reading David's review, it seems like the T1 might fit. I have no idea of it's sound signature though. Or maybe LCD-2, though hoping the weight and clamping wouldn't crush my noggin. Thanks for any input.
I think the T1 is a very, very good all-rounder. If you are looking for "One cans to rule them all", T1 might be the way to go. Though personally, I don't really like it. It sounds a bit plain to me due to not having any speciality. If you have the chance, listen to the T90 and you would get the general idea of T1's sound sig.
