Recommend Some Acoustic <3

Just started to get into acoustic rock, no heavy drums, just guitar, a great voice, and lyrics that are blissful.

Examples:

(All Yellowcard <33)

If you all could recommend more songs/albums/bands to listen to, I'd be extremely grateful.

City and Colour - preferably Sometimes or Bring Me Your Love.

Neil Halstead - my fav so far is Full Moon Rising.

I also really enjoy the Foo Fighters acoustic stuff - parts of In Your Honor, and all of Skin and Bones.

@Vuroth The fact that I didn't know Foo Fighters has acoustic songs is quite sad seeing as I've been listening to their music for about 3 months now. I have yet to listen to City and Colour, or Neil Halstead yet though.

It would be criminal if this list did not include at least the first four Bob Dylan albums:

Bob Dylan (1962)

The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan (1963)

The Times They Are a-Changin' (1964)

Another Side Of Bob Dylan (1964)

The next one, Bringing It All Back Home (1965), is about half acoustic and half electric.

It depends how much of an acoustic purist you want to be. The electric guitars continue to creep in on Dylan's records after that...

This is a fantastic acoustic album that never seems to be mentioned as frequently as it should be:

Johnny Thunders - Hurt Me

Dashboard confessional, secondhand serenade, the scene aesthetic

Eric Clapton unplugged
The Beatles "Naked"
Jim Croce Greatest Hits

+1 on The Tallest Man on Earth and Bob Dylan

"Elliott Smith" Either/or(feeling you will like the song "between the bars" or "angeles" the most)

"iron and wine" Our endless numbered days

Might not like the full album but at least give "Jeff Buckley"s cover of hallelujah a listen its amazing. I believe its played on an electric but theres no distortion or effects.

add more as i think of it.

Thank you for those of you who responded.

I must rephrase what I would like though, I want modern acoustic rock. The music that was given is older, and is too slow of a tempo to enjoy for me personally.
