Thank God, by adding plenty of sony's foams into the nozzle and using comply T-400 tips, the harsh treble from hi-hats and cymbals are all gone. It may be muddy for my taste but it still maintains separation and soundstage. Plus, isolation is greatly increased ( which I couldn't achieve with the stock tips) and I can wear it over the ear due to longer tips provided from the comply.
 
Somehow,I'm interested of getting T-200 since it's more compatible to the XBA-30 as the website says. T-400 fits these perfectly in ease without twisting, but somehow the bore size is too big for my ears.
 
Funnily, my ears are still traumated from the first time listening to these 

 so still maintaining at really low volume.

i've been listening to my VSD1S, and the sound coming from those is sublime. I ordered the S2 and T-PEOS H-100, and I'll be giving those a try. If I don't like either, I'm selling both. 
 
GLAD YOU FOUND THE RIGHT TIPS/MODD for those 30's! It's always a great feeling when you find the right tips for a iem issue.

I removed the additional foams that I put on the nozzles and I hear no treble harshness! Huge plus! Result: smooth, controlled treble, (bass is still adequate) and its nature is similar to the laid-back XBA-1 with milli-hint of treble sparkle while  retains bass impact. It does not sound muffled; soundstage and separation is still same. 
 
Yet, It lets me to wear XBA-30 over the ear, and S-200 is much MUCH more comfortable than the T version although it doesn't isolate as good, but still isolate slight better than the stock tips. Anyhow, I've purchased T-200 so I'll see the comparison

Does that mean you don't have any foam dampers left in your XBA 3's nozzles?

There is still foams in the nozzle; The "actual" foams are harder to pull and seem glued. I only remove the foam that I add to reduce the treble harshness.

Yeah..just don't remove the white filter that's after the foam. You can remove all the foam, it's a mod that's been done a bunch here, but apparently once you've removed all the foam, there's a white filter. That has to remain intact, but the foam mod is supposed to work to remove the metallic highs.

I will compare to the xba-3 as that has been my most HQ iem and I have used it every day for a year so I am sure I will notice the differences.

More thing to add, I find the GR07's hybrid tips ( look like sony) can be fitted to XBA-30 and are less prone for ear suction. Sony's large hybrid tips, the light blue, is dangerous and could suck one ears real bad when removed.

I love the Sony hybrids. I use them with my FXT90's, and I use the UE Silicone's for my VSD1S. Perfect fits. I use Olives for everything else so far. S2's and H-100 next, though I'm probably selling my T-PEOS right away?

Ended up putting my H-100 up for sale, and purchased a pair of TF10's, which I should have just went after from the beginning. As soon as they arrive, I'll make a comparison between them and the XBA-30's.

  did you purchase some XBA-30?? I'm trying to decide between a new pair of TF10's and the Fidelio S2. It's driving me nuts right now!! I've got both orders open, but don't know which one to choose?

My experience with TF10 and XBA-3iP is that TF10 is more detailed. You can hear things better with TF10 than XBA-3. In my opinion, TF10 easily beats XBA-3 in sound quality. 
 
However, I normally never use my TF10 because the fit sucks and the highs can be piercing to my ears. I've tried at least 5 different sets of tips with TF10 and also wear them the non-Frankenstein method. Nothing works to alleviate the fit problems over the 2+ years I've owned them. I only use TF10 for movies and video games sometimes, when I want to hear every little detail. I'm only keeping TF10s for when I get enough money for the custom reshelling process.
 
As for XBA-3iP, they are my go-to portable IEMs. No fit issues at all. They are very lightweight, so prolonged listening isn't a problem. The detail may not up to TF10's level, but they are adequate. Soundstage and instrument separation are great. Unlike a lot of people, I don't get metallic tinge in the highs, nor do the highs pierce my ears like TF10s do. The only complaint I have with my XBAs is the fact that the iPhone controls don't always work correctly. But that's not as important as the SQ to me and most people here.
 
I wish I had a XBA-30 to compare my XBA-3iP to. It'll be interesting to hear your comparisons...
