The LCD-2 is one of my main options for my first high-end setup. I plan on taking it to places every once in a while, so a tube amp would not be ideal since it would break in transportation. I would prefer to have an amp+DAC in one solution, so do you think the NFB12.1 is a good choice for the LCD-2? I want to drive the LCD-2 to there full potential, so will I have to spend more on a better amp, or will the nfb12.1 be good enough. Audio GD also has an amp+DAC called the NFB10 which costs roughly 500 dollars and is an improvement over the NFB12.1, do you think it's worth going for the NFB10? If neither of these are good, please recommend me a different setup for the LCD-2 in the 500 dollar price range.
