Rumor started by the silent one... the irony.

lmao. To be honest another headfier posted that picture in a PM. He was listening to music when a picture of a dead sparrow popped into his head. Then he went searching and started rolling :p. When he posted it in our PM I was like that is my new avatar! Just awesome :). Must have been plain oatmeal to cause such a shock.

I remember a few years back when E.Coli turned up in prepackaged salads. And a lot of the public thought the news reporter must have made a mistake.

Why were they thinking that? Because salad must be healthy? I generally heed warnings if it's to a relevant brand mentioned in the report. Better to be safe than sorry... Although when I eat salads I can't necessarily call it healthy with the ranch or thousand-island dressing....

What is your guys take on Soy products? I love my soy milk so I really don't want to give it up. I drink 100% organic. Not ever often either. Probably buy a 3 carton case of it ever 2 months as well as 2 quarts of coconut milk. All organic. Also I like to pick up tofu. The thing is costco gives you so much tofu it tends to sour before I can finish eating it.... :frowning2: Can it be stored in the freezer?

Most likely because the public associates it largely with beef. I try not to eat too much soy. However, I dislike the taste of Soy Milk. Still love my dairy. Do you have anyone you can partner with for Costco buys? I had to stop shopping there because only families or bulk purchasers who can consume quantity will benefit. Shopping for one was getting me slammed - throwing out foods I couldn't consume fast enough and such.

Well generally I split my shopping into categories. I was shopping with my cousin and aunt before. My cousin just tends to eat out ever day now lol. Not sure why be bothers exercising if he's gonna screw himself by eating unhealthy like that. Plus you spend a lot more money eating out every day. Knowing him probably over $30.00 a day if not more (that's being conservative).

I tend to buy a reasonable amount of vegetables that I can consume before they expire, then a good amount of frozen meat like beef and steak.  Then of course eggs, chicken, wheat bread, turkey and ham cold cuts. Purple sweet potatoes, curry sauce, cream of mushroom soup (for the curry), carrots, bananas, cranberry juice, and the Cranberry-pomegranate juice mix when I go to sams club (love that juice!). Oh don't forget the Portuguese sausage and the spicy sausage. I like to use that to make fried-rice once in a while.

The thing is this will be the first time I'm mainly shopping for myself lol. I usually shop for everyone and share. I'll still share with my aunt and uncle though.

I like milk - the steroids & hormones are the best part.

That's why girls and boys are growing such large boobs at 8 years of age, you know? Just sayin'...

You forgot the pineapples.

I heard from a source (no, not tomato sauce) thay soy is only good if it's fermented for human consumption.
So, if you find it's good for you, you're not human.

Just sayin'...

And, with soy, you get lotsa estrogen, good for females in menopause, and men who want to turn into menopausal women.......

No such health problems with pineapples...

E. Coli is poop. Has nothing to do with beef or salads - has everything to do with someone in the processing plant not washing their hands after wiping their @ss...
