NEW Brainwavz R1 - Dual Dynamic Driver Earphones!!!

Thanks.
I went on their FB page to check it out.
I was actually expecting another OEM housing as the DDM.

By the look of the housing, I'll say this isn't the same type of polar-coaxial drivers used in the DDM since DDM's drivers are much bigger. Most likely a parallel configuration like FXT90.

I like the looks of it, except the cable - looks thin and flimsy. hope that's not the case :/

The only Dual Dynamic driver I've tried is my Able Planet SI500 and it sounds really great. hope this one is 2-3 times better :D

The R1 are entry level, they are the first in (hopefully) many dual dynamic driver based earphones. I am cooking up a higher end version of the R1 with a goal for it to be released by Jan.

Wow, can't wait to see what the other's look like!:D

Hi All

Today we are proud to announce our new Brainwavz R1 Dual Dynamic Speaker Earphones!

The Brainwavz R1 are driven by two dynamic drivers, in a woofer and tweeter configuration. Most earphones only use one speaker, with the R1 two speakers are utilized to provide a better reproduction of sound across the entire audible sound spectrum. Using two drivers work harmoniously to provide a sound deep in bass and rich in detail. The R1 are suitable for any genre of music and are intended to be worn in a over the ear manner.

Features:

-Woofer & Tweeter Dual Driver
-Deep bass and rich in detail
-Over the ear design.

Looks like a dual bore design. A handsome looking phone as well.

The price is a bit of surprise. I would have thought it will be >$50 for a dual dynamic.

Dual bore eh? Interesting, although the price seems a bit too low if it's anything like FXT90 in quality. I already think my FXT90s are an amazing deal at $100, but a dual driver, dual bore dynamic for under $50? Hmm...
