STAX at HeadAmp - Coming Soon

In a few weeks, HeadAmp will begin to sell STAX headphones and amplifiers.  We'll be actively stocking a number of items.
 
I've ordered these headphones and amplifiers from Stax:
 
Headphones:
SR-507
SR-007 MK2
SR-009
 
Amplifiers:
SRM-323S
SRM-007t II
SRM-727 II
 
The amplifiers from STAX will help fill out the HeadAmp line-up of electrostatic amps, which currently consists of the Aristaeus tube amplifier and the Blue Hawaii SE solid state/tube amplifier, and the headphones can be paired as a system with either the STAX amplifiers or one of the HeadAmp offerings.  It just makes sense for us and for the convenience of our customers to bring the Stax products to the HeadAmp store.  Ideally, we'll be able to become the place to go in the headphone world for expertise in electrostatic headphones.
 
If you have any suggestions on other STAX products you would like to see offered at HeadAmp, please let me know.

Any price points yet? Nice to see someone that's not Jack actually stocking these.

The Stax prices aren't very flexible, but what I will be able to do is offer combo pricing for the headphones & amplifiers

Justin, what about servicing. Will you be offering any type of maintenance/repair work for Stax products. Either purchased through you, or someone else?

it's not something i'm planning to do right now.  i don't have the time, and people qualified to do that kind of work are not easy to find.

If we've already placed a downpayment on the BHSE, can we get the combo pricing if we add an SR-007 mk2 to our order?

Combo pricing sounds very cool... when I do gather up enough money to go all-in on a O2 setup I'll make sure to look to HeadAmp

Hard to believe, but it looks like STAX has already made 800 pairs of SR-009 headphones!

- The new in-ear-system from STAX, available in 3 versions: w/ portable amp, w/ wall-powered (small) amp, and just the earphones w/ a pro-bias plug.

nope, they're the latest ones.  i MAY be getting a pair of SR-007 MK1 in as a trade-in.
