Maybe he has 'big groups in small places' anxiety
biggrin.gif
because..wow..the group is bigger then i expected..at least 22 headfi loons! all packed together in one room.....
tongue.gif
am just wondering..as my particular headphone oozes lots of noise to the outside world and with quieter music i hear everything around me...and that can sometimes be a bit annoying for both parties concerned..did the organisator think about putting people with those kind of phones a bit apart? He can do that by the list we provided what we would bring along and make a raw sketch of how to place the noiciest people far far far far faaaar away..hahaha
biggrin.gif
seriously..with so many people i can imagine if someone reaaly want a serious listen experience with an open backed headphone u need a bit of rest around u..
smily_headphones1.gif

Well..maybe i am nitpicking...but have a thought bout it..people with closed or in ear phones wont have this problem ofcourse..so they can all be put on one table and the open phone owners will have the other 21 tables
wink.gif
..KIDDING!
And another thing..i read here it starts at 11:00..does that mean u must have ur rig up and running also or does it mean the door opens at 11:00....or can u enter when u want? As that will make the morning a bit hectic to say the least..

Door opens at 11:00, come anytime you like and set up when you feel like it. Door closes at 16:00 though, everything should be packed before then.

We should try out all the powerhungry, wall-outlet dependant stuff first.... We can continue with the mobile gear in the parkinglot after we get kicked out :)

Last meet I stayed for 2 hours, packed up my stuff and went back home again. you don't need hours and hours to listen imo. Oh no wait, that's just me being an a**hole.

As long i have my own minibar and some thingies to eat i dont mind.. :p and my 337 will heat the cellar up anyway..hahaha :D
About gathering afterwards..normally i would like that..but in my case with all the equipment i have with me , i dont wanna take the risk of letting it alone in the car and being robbed..us together will get attention outside..so its easy for the wrong type of people take interest what we do afterwards with our equipment..yeah maybe i am a bit paranoia..but had been working at the police department for a year in the past so i am a bit carefull..so no..i wont have that drink..but u guys have fun.. :p

You can park the car safely behind a locked gate at the venue. No way is anyone getting in there. Besides, it's freakin Limburg. Only eldery people live there and they can't even lift your amp, let alone steal it and run away with it.

But seriously..its wellknown fact within police scene that in limburg its a feast for drugscriminals and cartels because of the good central position of limburg between germany and belgium. But anyway..if u say its a closed parking lot...maybe i will do that then..and about elderly..i used to do some bodybuilding in the past in my younger years..and there were 2 60 plusser who were lifting weights heavier then most of us..hahaha :D and so far i know..the criminal elderdy never ever get to pension when they get 65.. :D

I think you're worrying too much! Heerlen has once won the price for the worst city in the Netherlands to live in. I did have my bike stolen in front of the police station where they had to cut through quite a big chain. I stole a bike after that in front of a turkish cellphone shop while the owner of the bike was looking. One of his friends later stole it back. I did trade rolling papers with a guy for helping him spread cocaine on his cigarette. I did give alcohol to the bums. People have been shooting in the area I lived in, and I went out with a baseball bat to offer a fight to a motorcycle shop owner. My girlfriend back then got chased and pushed off of the road because people wanted her to buy their drugs (she doesn't do drugs), Heerlen and it's sub Hoensbroek are known for creating some of the hardest softdrugs in the world, and the police is not to be trusted completely. But besides that, it's really nice . I wouldn't worry too much if I was you, there's not too much happening these days!!

Stealing bikes happens all around the country.

A couple weeks ago I was parking my bike in Utrecht, and there was a homeless dude with a big bolt cutter standing a couple meters away from me cutting the chain of some bike. I glanced at him nonchalantly, parked my bike, and went to the train station. A couple weeks before that people stole my front light: they removed the bolts and cut the wire. Additionally, they also removed the batteries from my back light.
You'd have to be surprised if your bike does not get stolen, rather than if it does.
