Looking for closed back cans, about $350 total. (Thinking about AKG K550) | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

So I was looking for some closed back cans for school with good isolation. I was debating between Denon D2000 and AKG K550. I like the 550 because the fold up against your chest but I hate how they don't have that detachable cable the Q701 series does. Do anyone know of any good close cans that fold or twist for easy wearing, durable, and has a detachable cable?

Ultrasone PRO series. The PRO 750 (grey/black) would be great and in the price range.

I like my ultrasone pro 9's allot. Defintly the best stock can you can buy. Way better than the K550 if you like electronica. The D 2k's are nice but need quite a bit of modding IMO to really make them sing.

I mostly listen to classic rock and talk radio. Have been know to drop some dub and dubstep in the past.

Prob shuld get the pro750 or D2k. Sounds like you need an all arounder headphone. Didn't like the K550 all that much when I tried it out.
