So these are the molds I made. You can see clearly that the mold could not go passed the second bend of my ear canal. There is absolutely no way of getting anything in there, not even a Q-tip, not even when I lift my ear. I'm pretty sure this will affect the ciems isolating capabilities, but I don't mind that at all really. I just want to know if this has ever been done?

At the very least I would send those off to Phil at CE just to see what he says.  More than likely he'll do it but won't accept refits.  It might be worth going to an audiologist and seeing what they say.

Cheers

Still I would suggest for you to see an audiologist, maybe they know something you don't know, since they are professionals and this is their job. Can be helpful who knows?

Yes definitely, maybe it's not that abnormal, maybe it really is. Would be cool to find out! But Phil has the last word whether it will even fit.
I just got a message back from Phil, and he said that the only downside would be, that they wouldn't isolate as much. I'm fine with that.

My pair of BA4F is finally done, I'm so glad! They turned out amazing, I'm very impressed with Phil and his great support. No one else would ever accept to make such a speical design, at least not without taking me for all I'm worth!

Did you got a chance to listen to them already? :D Or are they still in Sweden?

In ciems, ear impressions mean everything. I highly recommend you to go to an audiologist and you will see things better.

Just shot Phil an email about my HY3... hopefully it won't be too much longer.

Got an appointment at an audiologist tomorrow. Getting these impressions done will only cost €22.50, I'm really curious what she has to say about my ear canals!

Nice price I think, some people were paying double or triple amount of that. I hope I will be lucky in Belgium too

Nice score on the cost of impressions!  Rip off britain in action right there (someone got quoted £70 upthread!).

Don't forget to take the instructions in from CE's site.

Cheers

AudioNova has done mine for free twice already but I didn't really like the result. I went to a shop in Maastricht for the CE iems, they did it for free as well.
