Thank you for the answear, pretty good news well :)   
But what did you mean by the "sound" is not for you ?  Too dark ? not very "punchy" ?

independent Japanese stockist get Walkman's 4-6weeks after release so I've been informed... the WM-Z update is due late October/early November.

I was blessed by having a funny Father... he saw a lot in his formative years (WW2/Israel/Aden/Yemen) and always said that there was too much good in World to worry about the bad... he tended to make up anecdotes by the bucket-load which made for a happy home so I guess a bit rubbed-off.
 
ps... I just realised this is my 1000th post... I've reached legend status, beers all round & all that.

The cases right now on the Sony site translate to coming soon, but there will be cases. Ray Out also makes 'em http://www.ray-out.co.jp/products/portableaudio_nw-f800.html You just need to find an importer or wait for eBay after they are out. For at least the Sony ones, it looks like Yodobashi is saying October 19th.
