What would you use it with though? If it's your ES5 I'm not sure how well that will work to be honest. On the 8As it hisses more than I'd like. But the Nova N1 pairs extremely well on the 8As. The Studio V pairs extremely well on the 1Plus2 and Flat 4. Its pretty much black on the Flat 4 which is a huge plus .

Just wondering how the  AUDEO PFE 232 stacks up against the 1PLUS2 or the AKG3003
Are we talking chalk vs cheese?
Has anyone had the chance to own both to shed some light?..thanks !
I listen to metal mostly and heard great things about the bass impact of the PFE 232 to be slamming
yet maintaining clear high ends..

I must say the Tralucents are one of the best IEMs I've heard for metal... The clarity is unmatched and with several instruments going at it at the same time it becomes quite an ear-festival.

The 1+2 is really good for metal/hard rock. I haven't heard the 232 but both the k3003 and 1+2 are very good with the genre. The k3003 has a bit fuller distortion guitar bite but the 1+2 is a little more detail oriented and also seems a bit faster. Both have nice airy soundstages.
