Hello guys,

I apologize if this is the wrong section or if this question has been asked a billion times before but;

I recently ordered (Today *cough) the Sennheimer PX100-2 Headphones since everyone was talking very highly about them and how they are the best headphones for their price period. Now, they are amazing and definitely on the cheaper side. I've been using the Sony 10$ earplugs for the longest time and without doubt these ones are better, but I do feel the overal sound quality could be a little higher. It actually feels like the cheaper Sony earplugs have way clearer sound, but have absolutely no thump or bass to them. However;

I am willing to spend about a 100 bucks so I was wondering if there were any Itouch suitable headphones that are a good bit better AND are portable and don't have too big of ear pieces. I know that's a lot to ask for and I've scrolled through the stickied review thread but I figured I would get some comments to be sure. See im planning on bringing these to school and such so I don't want the huge earpieces/disks most good headphones have. Thats one advantage to the beats headphones, they seem perfect sized for that (tho I know overrated and not worth)

Also 2 other quick questions:

1. Will the overall sound clarity and quality of the Sennheimer px100-2 improve a good bunch more if I let it burn in some more?

2. And in-ears are as fine as headphones, though my assumption is is that headphones have better bass due to their ear sizes/disks, is that true? else a earplug is fine as well.

Thanks in advanced, I really wanna enjoy my music to the fullest =]

What kind of music you listen to?

Uhm everything apart from (heavy)metal. Mostly R&B, Hiphop. The PX100-2 have great bass but when I listen to more acoustic & Vocally focused songs you can clearly notice its not super clear and a bit distant. If there are any other good headphones that don't have the huge ears used in the studio but that I can carry around at school etc I would like to try to upgrade even further.

HD439 would fit you great, there isnt a genre I have heard that they dont sound good with, IMO best you can get for >100 nice clean tight bass with great mids and highs.
