I tried the mod, but it wasn't my cup of tea. It completely took away the openness of the sound which gave it a congested feeling. The bass increased in quantity, but the other elements were diminished in my opinion.

No paper towel/toilet paper here. Stock pads make for perfect synergy with my rockboxed Clip Zip.....no EQ or additional amp required.

Burning them in at 3.5 volume on my FiiO E11 + EQ1 setting (more bass).

They are vibrating like mad lol

Is that something I should worry about and reduce the volume??
