Cary Audio HH-1 Hybrid amp

So who is this notorious and mysterious designer who prefers not to have his name associated with his amp?
It might sounds great but I can't help myself thinking the audio industry take us head-fiers for mugs when I see those prices.
For a similar cost of that  black box and a HD800 you could get:

If we told you that, he'd no longer be notorious and mysterious. No fun in that.
 
Besides, what does it matter who designed it? It is what it is regardless and that's how it should be judged.

Has anyone used the hh1 with hifiman he560? I'm looking at a one but I am concerned about it having enough power.
