what about that PSB M4U 2 noise cancelling headphone, looks intriguing
PSB M4U2 is a nice set. Needs eq to have good bass though. The internal amp powers them fine, but small gains in SQ and bass can be had with an external amp--I use them with a fiio a3. They hit harder than my old beats studio and sound a lot lot better everywhere else. Nice mids, non fatiguing, very clear. Stage could be bigger, but separation is good. Solid build quality and comfortable too. I use them daily at work and they do a great job canceling the noise of air compressors, shop vacs, and fans. Confident they're one of the best, if not the best, noise cancelling over ear on the market in their price bracket. And they work with dead batteries.
