My budget is $60, but I can go a little over (70 is pushing it).
 
Some earphones I'm looking at right now are Klipsch Image series, Etymotic, Headdirect, Sennheiser CX series, etc.
 
I listen to mostly pop-punk (New Found Glory, Alkaline Trio, Lagwagon), ska punk, and newer punk rock, and occasionally noise rock, indie, folk rock, etc. 
 
any suggestions/recs would be awesome. I'll be listening from my laptop and my iphone.

I am currently trying out the Monster NCredible N-Ergy and find they sound pretty darn good for their $69 price tag at Canadian Walmart's. I would say they are better the Klipsch IEM's in that price range.
 
If interested I have some Etymotic MC5's up for sale in the FS section as well as a pair of FX40's, depending on where you live these are both well under your budget dollar amounts. There are a ton of other great IEM's listed in the FS section from others hat would also meet your needs.
