Yes is true m2tech is very popular with their young dac as well

The plus point from Vaughan is 3 in 1 : dac + head amp + pre amp

Between the pre amp and head amp are not the same gain , they protect our headphone very good , can not damage our headphone .
For example as I heard as pre amp in home audio in the listening level -22 db is very loud
In my headphone I must turn to - 10 is comfortable
Excellent jobs .

VERY Nice product. I really like the 'battery operated solution' ... too bad it is really too big and too heavy to become à transportable ring solution. 20 lb !!! What the hell is inside to make it so heavy ???

Yes You are right , For transportable is quiet heavy , it is more For Home audio. Use

You could carry it in a Dacpack.....(Get it..Backpack?...) ok...Back to my day job...

The headamp and pre amp section from Vaughan is Better than eximus Dp 1

We compare as follow

For Amp Section We tested :

We use dac section from Vaughan and amp section from Vaughan
We use dac section from Vaughan. And amp section from Eximus Dp 1

The amp section from Vaughan :
Has Better dynamic , clarity , transparancy , Speed , and full Body than eximus Dp 1


For dac section

We use amp section from Vaughan and dac section from Vaughan
We use amp section from Vaughan and dac section from eximus Dp 1

The dac section :from Vaughan :
Has Better detail , transparancy , very Clear and cleanest SQ, better separation ,
3 Dimensional Sounstage than eximus Dp 1


Before Vaughan come Out , eximus was Our favorite Dac/ pre amp / head amp
5 of us has own eximus Dp 1 , After i saw Vaughan , i sold My eximus Dp 1 to My Friend
And Bought Vaughan For My set Up .

If these 2 Came Out at the same Time , After We do audition , i Think nobody want buy
Eximus Dp 1 . Because the Sound Quality so big diffrerent .
Before You hear eximus Dp 1 so good , After We hear Vaughan , feel eximus Dp 1 congested
The music come so Fiat , Only 2 D. Not 3 D like Vaughan.
Specially the bass section Eximus Dp 1 We heard Only Until luar Knee , Vaughan We heard
Until to The Floor
8 of us Said the same Woods : Vaughan is excelen product
Nobody Said minus about Vaughan , Only the price is High .
4 of us are interested on Vaughan.

This is My personal opinion .

That is very interesting. The Vaughan must be a remarkable unit to outclass the highly regarded DP1! I'll have to see if there is a dealer near where  I can audition one.
