Interested in getting a closed headphone in the $300 range.  Currently have DT770 (non-pro 250ohm), best closed headphone I have heard to date.  Recently tried the ATH-A900x , enjoy the larger soundstage and "brighter" sound to the DT770, but they keep sliding down my head and the sound becomes tiring for extended listening.

Have narrowed the selections down to the D2000, FA-003 and the Thunderpants kit.  Has anyone compared the three?  I have a Schiit Lyr and currently my favorite headphones are DD650

Thanks!

Just couldn't wait!

Went ahead and ordered the Thunderpants kit, $250 and ordered a pair of the Denon D2000.

After doing lots of research it seems that the FA-003 are made by Yoga Electronics,  http://www.yoga.com.tw/ model  CD-880 same as the FA-003

Seems the Digitech Pro Monitor, http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=AA2065 and same as BRAINWAVZ HM5 Studio Monitor Headphones, http://www.mp4nation.net/headphones-amps/headphones/brainwavz-hm5-studio-monitor-headphones, the Jaycar are $50USD, have sent an email to Jaycar.

Anyone already compared D2000 to the FA-003 to the Thunderpants ?  Thanks!
