PF IX + David Sylvian's "When Poets Dreamed Of Angels" =
Does anyone here listen to rock n roll with these things?? do they sound good with rock n roll? Or are they just basically for classical? I'm not a big fan of classical.. Each there own I guess rite lol
Rearrange those lights in the back to flash KISS and you have a winner.
Inspired by a few concerts I have recently attended (caveat emptor):
But if you have steel ears the PFIX will go cling cling when you put them on.PF IX (and TG334) is on its way to me. . Can't wait!
*hopefully I can appreciate its strengths. I listen to pretty badly mastered stuff, but I seem to have steel ears, so hopefully it won't bother me too much.

I thought you said you'd ordered the 1601SS not 1602SS (aka PF IX). Both 160X models are very forgiving of poorly mastered material. It's the FI-BA-SS which can be very revealing, so you should be okay. Prepare yourself for a sonic shock, though... maybe.
