Kohn's a sponser here at Head-Fi. Here's his e-mail address: info@audiocubes.com

A Sony 1/4" screw-on might work, but I don't know if the threading is the same. You could probably go to Radio Shack and buy a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter to get you by.

Thanks for the compliment! I'm always surprised to find out how many people like Clockwork.

thanks for the email.

funny thing is that i have a mdr-7506 plug and it fits perfectly on the A900, BUT... it's also broken.

I believe both times to be the cleaning lady's fault... prob hitting them with a freakin vacuum as they were attached to my computer on the floor...

yeah i'm a HUGE fan of kubrick. got his whole collection. by the way, do u know the movie on my avatar? also one of my all time favs.

does anybody know if you can just buy a gold plated 1/4" adapter with the threading in it, like the one that was described as broken? i also just bought the a900's, and i really like the screw on adapter. and i also have the sony 7506's, but i bought them used and they did not come with the gold/threaded adapter.

is this something they'd have at radio shack? any other ideas? i already have oodles of regular, chrome/NOT threaded 1/4" adapters.

yeah but thats not fair... i come back from college and my parents didnt warn me about a cleaning lady who comes like once a month or so... and plus leaving the plug in the comp isnt that big a deal... i usually put in a safe place. heh... I refuse to blame myself.

An authentic Audio-Technica 1/8"-to-1/4" adapter appears to be $9.00 US at Audio Cubes.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the scene right before Travis goes to the rally where the senator is speaking.

As for the Mohawk itself, I've heard that it was a bald-head wig with some fur attached to it. I haven't paid close enough attention to De Niro's head in that movie to notice whether that's true or not.

Back when I had my A900's a simple adapter from radio shack worked, no need to buy threaded unless you just want it.

Those are interchangeable with the ones from Sony, or Beyer, or Ultrasone...
They are all the same thread, and only vary cosmetically.

Personally I would clip off the 1/8" and burn on a good 1/4". Not the solution if you use it with a portable, but definitely better for sit-down gear.
