So im not sure where to look but I want surround sound to hook up to my computer and tv. Any suggestions? I trust everyone here a lot more than anywhere else when it comes to audio quality

Please give us your budget. My first suggestion is the Focal 5.1 Dome surround sound system, but it runs almost $3k.

haha yea thats a little out of my price range. I was thinking not more than 500. Honestly i could settle with 2.0 although surround sound would be sweet

For 2.0 both HT and music i would go with nice floor standers that extend low

For 2 channel never discount vintage/classic speakers and amps either ^^

Here are some computer speakers you might interested in. The ARX A1Bs might be a great 2.0 near field speaker for under $500.
