I had dx100 for about a week now and decided to make some kind of leather case for it. Below are some pictures of the two prototypes. One is made with 2mm thick vegetable tanned leather with secure strap and belt loop (attach to belt). The dark green one is made from 3mm thick premium cowhide, which offers excellent protection. Both cases are close-end design, resulting a boxy appearance. Maybe I should make an open-end case like this? Or any other features I should implement? A small shoulder strap?

For those who are looking to double their dx100's play time. Here is a nice Chinese made battery pack that does the job. It has an advertised capacity of 8600mah @ 3.7v but can output 12v @ 1.3a as well (dx100 requirement). The size and appearance of this battery pack matches dx100 perfectly. I am think of putting some velcro in between the two and use it during international flight.

It also has 9v & 5v output which charges my e17 and ipad.

Surprisely, the soft case it came with is perfect size for dx100 as well.

I don't have a link as it was purchased from a brick & wall store in Hong Kong. The package doesn't show any website but manufacture's address & phone is printed. Shengzheng Province, Baoan district #71 phone 0864006769865. The price is around $35 including multi-purpose connectors or $25 without them.
