I plan on being there.  I will hopefully bring my ODAC, EHHA Rev A, and HE-500's.  Perhaps my Bijou amp and Opus DAC as well with some T50RP's that I modified.

To clarify on what I said before, I can definitely bring the following:

Headphone(s):

Ultrasone Edition 8
and I'll probably bring my Audez'e LCD3's since I have the carrying case.

DAPs:

Hifiman HM801
Hifiman HM601
HiSound Studio V

DAC/amps:

Fostex HP-P1
Objective 2
PA2V2

Again, I'll have to travel fairly light, lest I'd bring more.

I plan on attending.  I'm leaning towards bringing a JVC DX1000 and iBasso D7 since neither is scheduled to make an appearance.  I could potentially bring my T1, K400, K501, and Woo WA3--or anything else in my sig, really--if anyone would be interested in checking it out.

I was recently talking with David from Hammertone Audio, the global distributor for Allnic Audio.  David mentioned Allnic Audio is in the process of releasing a headphone amplifier, the HPA5000.  It is scheduled to be released soon.  David will try and send one to the meet to give the Chicago Head-Fiers a chance to audition there first headphone amplifier.  It will be available in black or the silver shown in the photo below.  Some information on the design is below the picture.  I did have a chance to talk with the designer who was actually visiting Hammertone Audio this weekend.  With its optimization for 40-50 ohm headphones and being capable of 5 wpc, if it can make the meet, I look forward to hearing it with some of the great headphones that will be at the meet.

The HPA5000 could be listed as an OTL and OCL (Output Transformerless and Output Capacitatorless) design. Power output is approximately 5 WPC into a 40 to 50 Ohm impedance. The tubes in each channel (1) 6AN8 (1) E180CC (2) 7233. Voltage gain is +24dB. This amounts to a pure tube design possessing 2 pairs of RCA inputs and one 1/4" headphone jack output. The gain attenuator is Allnic designed and built 41 silver stepped.

The DX1000 would be great.

I'll be there. I'll bring a Yulong D100 (macbook pro), Bottlehead Crack, and maybe a Gamma 1 dac - and headphones: Beyer 880/600, Senn HD600, and AKG K702 (unless any of those prove to be doubles or unnecessary).

Has anyone reached out to Shure? It's just down the street from them.

I tried reaching out the past several years to Shure but they did not respond so I didn't even try this year.  If someone has any direct contact, maybe they can make the contact.

I sent a note to my old PR buddy who did work for them. Who knows what we'll hear.
